Blue Earth AllianceBlue Earth Alliance
http://www.blueearth.org
The Blue Earth Alliance is a non-profit group of photojournalists in Seattle. They support photo projects that inform the public about endangered environments, threatened cultures and current social issues. They have selected “Aftermath” for sponsorhip which means that all donations to this project -- made through the Alliance -- are tax-deductible.

Check out their site. If you can, support them, and the projects they are sponsoring. If you want to help support “Afermath,” through Blue Earth Alliance, please click here. Without these people, a lot of important photodocumentary projects wouldn’t get done.

Friends of Bosnia
http://www.friendsofbosnia.org
Friends of Bosnia is a humanitarian, non-governmental organization, based in Boston, Massachussetts. They began during the war, in 1994, and continue to work in Bosnia today. It's a great website, with lots of information, good archival pieces and photo essays.

The International Crisis Group
http://www.crisisweb.org
This is a great source of information if you’re into political analysis and in-depth reports. ICG is a private organization, with staff on five continents -- including an office in Sarajevo. ICG’s goal is to precent and contain conflict. To read any of their many Bosnia reports, go to the web site and check out their Balkans section.

Balkan Times
News and Views of Southeastern Europe
http://www.balkantimes.com
Let’s face it, the Western media doesn’t really cover Bosnia on a regular basis. This is a great source of news for day-to-day stories and the kinds of things the mainstream news media pretty much overlooks. The staff covers the entire Balkans, but there’s a lot of good Bosnia stuff. It’s a good way to keep in touch with what’s going on there.

NGO-Forum Srebrenice
http://www.srebrenica-ngoforum.ba
This is a great new link, that lists the efforts of several non-governmental organizations run by Srebrenica women. They're doing everything from running job-training programs to working on return and reconciliation issues with Srebrenica Serbs.

Christian Science MonitorThe Chrisian Science Monitor
http://www.csmonitor.com
The Christian Science Monitor is an amazing source of news, providing coverage of stories and places that often go overlooked by the rest of the media. Among its many awards is a 1995 Pulitzer prize for being the first Western newspaper to document the massacres at Srebrenica. I have to admit a certain bias here. I was a staff correspondent for the Monitor for many years, and still write for it today.

KCRWKCRW
http://www.kcrw.org
KCRW is a public radio station that broadcasts from Santa Monica, California -- and is home to several local and national award-winning news and music programs. You can hear all of its programming on the web. Just use this link. To the Point I also have to admit to a certain bias; I’m an occasional guest host for Warren Olney’s nationally-broadcast daily news show, To the Point.

A great lab, with a helpful staff, who have been supportive of the “Aftermath” project. Also (important to me as a Kodak shooter) a Kodak Q Lab.
